The national radio arm of Cumulus Media has given its VP of Affiliate Sales for Talk Programming a bump up to Senior VP for all of its programming.

The promotion of Stuart Greenblatt at Westwood One comes in recognition of his efforts on behalf of station services for the network’s talk show properties.

Under Greenblatt, WWO launched the Ben Shapiro Show, transitioning a podcast to broadcast. He also was a key figure in the launch of the radio show once hosted by comedian Dennis Miller.

In his new role, Greenblatt will oversee the distribution and marketing of all Westwood One programs and affiliate services for radio stations around the country, as well as supervise the national affiliate sales team and manage station client relationships.

This is Greenblatt’s 20th year with Westwood One, and joined after serving as VP/Affiliate Sales for now-defunct Air America. He started his career as a copywriter and, later, as OM of WADB-AM & WOBM-AM in Monmouth-Ocean, N.J.

“After working in affiliate sales for almost 20 years, I am honored to be leading the Affiliate Sales team here at Westwood One, truly the best in the business,” Greenblatt said. “I look forward to working together with our station partners and our outstanding sales team to grow and promote our first-rate programming across the board.”

Greenblatt reports to Westwood One COO Charles Steinhauer.
