Greenville Radio launches “Good News Upstate”

Cox Radio Greenville, Entercom Radio Greenville, and Clear Channel Radio Greenville are running 14,000 radio announcements on 11 Upstate South Carolina radio stations. From April 2nd thru the end of the year. Over $1,000,000 in inventory is airing to boost consumer confidence in the Greenville/Spartanburg metro.  The campaign features positive, encouraging messages on why the Upstate is a great place to live, work, play and shop. The Chambers of Commerce of Anderson, Clemson, Easley, Fountain Inn, Greer, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, Mauldin, Simpsonville and Spartanburg South Carolina have joined the effort.


Good News Upstate  is an effort by local radio to improve consumer confidence. Airing 35 units a week on each of the 11 radio stations is expected to reach over 90% of the adult population in the market.  There are many positive stories about people, industry and opportunities that will be told. 

www.goodnewsupstate.com was also launched. The site is a portal for the program and allows any area business to submit nominations for the program aired on all 11 Upstate radio formats.
