TLALNEPANTLA, MEXICO — A top tech provider serving the audio media industry across the globe has just expanded its relationship with one of the most important radio broadcasting companies in Mexico.

As a result, Grupo Acir-owned stations will now be able to benefit from the measurement of its digital audio content by Triton Digital.

Specifically, stations owned and operated by the Mexican radio giant will now be able to utilize Triton Digital’s Webcast Metrics service to measure the size and scale of their listening audience.

Grupo Acir stations have been using Triton for the audio streaming of their 60 radio stations, which include such popular Mexico City-based FMs as “Amor 95.3,” which focuses on Latin Pop ballads; youth-targeted Top 40 “Radio Disney”; and Classic Hits “MIX 106.5,” which features English-language pop and rock from the 1980s and can be heard in 12 other markets across Mexico.

Grupo Acir uses Triton’s Tap ad server to dynamically insert targeted audio ads into the stations’ online streams.

To support their monetization goals, Grupo Acir will continue to make their audio inventory available in Triton’s programmatic audio marketplace, a2x, leveraging Triton’s audio SSP, Yield-Op, to control access, pricing, ad quality settings, and the configuration of open and private deals with specific buyers, brands, or sales houses.

“Triton Digital has a way of understanding, anticipating, and solving for the needs of broadcast radio in a way that no other technology provider can,” said Manuel Pérez del Castillo, Quality and IT Director for Grupo Acir. “With unsurpassed innovation, sophistication, and support, Triton Digital is the perfect partner to support the ongoing growth and evolution of our digital audio strategy.”

Triton Digital Managing Director of Market Development and Strategy Benjamin Masse added, “We are pleased to continue to provide Grupo Acir with the best-in-class technology and support they need to deliver and monetize their digital audio content, and to measure their online listening audience. Webcast Metrics will provide Grupo Acir with invaluable data to help strengthen their monetization strategy and generate additional revenue, including audience listening information across smart speakers, desktop, mobile, Smart TVs, tablets, and other internet connected devices.”
