Haystack News Goes Live With Second-Gen Newsline

LOS ANGELES — Ad-supported Video on Demand (AVOD) service Haystack News, offering viewers reports from local broadcast TV stations’ newsrooms, has updated its personalized news ticker.


Newsline is being marketed as a “dynamic and interactive” news ticker for AVOD platforms, and now includes upgrades; it is now available on all smart TV platforms including LG, Samsung, Sony, TCL and Vizio, and Android TV, Fire TV and Roku devices including smart TVs and streaming devices.

The benefits include better graphics and user interactivity for every headline, in addition to enhanced weather forecasts and Wall Street information.
