Javier Fernandez’s Iglesia Nueva Vida of High Point bought its first AM station last year, in the Greensboro-Winston Salem-High Point NC market. Now it’s adding another in Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill.

INV is purchasing WDYT-AM, licensed Kings Mountain NC. The seller is Danny Fontana’s CRN Communications LLC. The price is $425K, with $265K payable in cash at closing and the rest handled via a $160K promissory note.

The station, which operates on 1220 kHz, is said to be silent.

In its earlier deal, INV acquired WGOS-AM High Point from Ritchy Broadcasting Company for $750K. That deal was filed with the FCC 8/12/08.
