Home Depot Rock Solid Radio Advertiser

Saying The Home Depot is the dominant advertiser on radio these days is a bit like saying Elvis sold a few records. For the week ending August 26, the big-box home improvement outfit posted 58,655 spots on radio across the country, according to Media Monitors. That’s up from 51,306 last week. The other consistent heavyweight in radio advertising, GEICO, held onto second position and also boosted their spots total considerably. Similarly, Lowe’s stayed at No. 3. Hyundai, Indeed, and Staples also held fast in the Spot Ten, while Sprint and the Ford Dealer Association made the jump up into the rankings at the expense of the US Dept. of Transportation and McDonald’s.
