Emmis’ NYC R&B/Hip Hop station says the new overnight show is hosted by on-air talent, J. Medina. With a dynamic personality and undeniable presence, she’s heard Monday through Friday in the 12a.m. to 5a.m. spot and on Sundays from 12p.m. to 5p.m.
J. (Julissa) Medina was born and raised in Brooklyn. She started at HOT 97 as a production assistant and successfully accomplished her goals of becoming an on-air personality at HOT 97. J. Medina also works alongside DJ Mister Cee every Friday from 8p.m. to 10p.m. for the #1 rated mix show on HOT 97, “Friday Nite Live”. Additionally, she is a personality on satellite radio channel Shade 45, and worldwide weekly for the website ThisIs50.com. When she’s not on the radio you can catch her at a red carpet event or movie premiere interviewing some of your favorite artists, or hosting a party and rocking a crowd at various night clubs and venues throughout New York.
