A longtime Classic Rocker serving Philadelphia, owned by Beasley Media Group.

These were among the 10 stations honored at the 32nd annual NAB Crystal Radio Awards on Tuesday afternoon at the NAB Show.

The NAB Crystal Radio Awards recognize AM and FM radio stations for their outstanding year-round commitment to community service.

The recipients were chosen among 50 finalists who were honored at the annual We Are Broadcasters Celebration.

The naming of Class B KWBG-AM 1590 in Boone, Iowa is particularly noteworthy.

On December 28, 2018, RBR+TVBR reported that Carolyn Becker would be saying goodbye to her 60/40 partnership in these Hawkeye State signals. This resulted in her Riverfront Broadcasting giving full control of KWBG to Fieldview Broadcasting, led by Kirk Graeve.

Serving as the legal counsel in the transaction was David Oxenford of Wilkinson Barker Knauer LLP.

NAB Crystal Radio Award finalists were chosen by a panel of judges representing broadcasting, community service organizations and public relations firms.

Also at the We Are Broadcasters Celebration, five-time NAB Crystal Radio Award winning station KFOR-AM in Omaha-Council Bluffs received the Crystal Heritage Award.
