The IEEE Broadcast Technology Society has scheduled the 2016 Broadcast Symposium for Oct. 12-14 in Hartford, Conn.
The yearly event gathers broadcast radio and television engineers from the U.S. and other countries for a three-day program of technical sessions and networking.
The group considers last month’s Orlando meeting a success at 120 attendees and a “record” number of sponsors, according to IEEE BTS conference co-chair Roswell Clark, who’s also the director of technical operations at Cox Media Tampa.
“As our premier conference, the symposium has made a name for itself worldwide as one of the preeminent technical gatherings on broadcasting technology,” notes Clark.
The IEEE will soon open the call for papers and sponsors for the 2016 event. For more information, go to: http://bts.ieee.org/
