In last week’s Media Monitors TV Spot Ten, Progressive leap-frogged GEICO and took the top spot with 14,900 spots. GEICO moved from #3 to #2 airing 13,913 ads, while Crest squirted from #17 to #3 with 13,809 commercials. McDonald’s slipped from #1 to #4 with 13,522 spots and Progresso soared from #15 to #5 airing 12,845 spots. Pillsbury sunk from #2 to #6 with 11,509 ads, while Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge catapulted from #24 to #7 running 10,748 spots. The Ford Dealer Association parked at #8 with 10,667 spots and the Publishers Clearing House hopped into #9 with 10,649 spots. Coming in #10 was the Toyota Dealer Association with 10,540 spots.
