Copsidas Captures Two Deep South LPTVs

If the name Frank Copsidas is familiar to you, perhaps it is from his role as Managing Member of Tyche Media, which in January 2018 acquired LPTVs in Connecticut.

Copsidas has been active in New England media for several years, and from 2002-2006 was the manager of legendary Soul recording artist James Brown. Today, through Tyche and The Intrigue Group, his Constitution State TV stations “produce content for entertainment, food and music lovers alike.”

Now, Copsidas is acquiring two more LPTVs — this time in the Deep South.

Through subsidiary 5GTV LLC, Copsidas is grabbing W07BN in Bruce, Miss., and W34BJ in Calhoun City, Miss., from Kathryn A. Morgan.

The purchase price is $50,000 — with a caveat.

In the event that a transmitter site lease of an initial five-year term, with three additional renewal options, with a monthly lease price of $300 is not obtained by Copsidas by the closing date; and a satisfactory structural tower survey has not been obtained by Copsidas by that date, the purchase price will be amended to $30,000.

A $10,000 deposit has been placed in escrow.

Serving as the broker for Morgan in this transaction is Amanda Bryant of Capital Business Systems.

The legal counsel representing Capsidas in this transaction is Dan J. Alpert.
