On January 2021, the Ranking Member of the House Energy & Commerce Committee will be leaving Capitol Hill. Greg Walden, the Republican from Oregon who once owned stations in Hood River, along the Columbia River Gorge, is retiring.
While Walden may today be radio’s best friend in D.C. politics, a Minnesota Republican — teaming with a Pennsylvania Democrat — has just made a major move that positions him as the new leading buddy for radio and TV in the Rayburn HOB.
