SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIF. — If one listens to the Classical stations serving the San Francisco Bay Area and nearly all of Southern California, they may recognize similar air personalities or identical programming, depending on the hour.
That’s because KUSC-FM in Los Angeles and KDFC-FM in San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose are siblings, operating under the USC Radio Group “Classical California” brand.
Now, the University of Southern California has named a new President for its radio group, comprised of the stations airing KDFC and KUSC from Mendocino County to San Diego.
