Spotify has never ranked above Pandora in primetime digital audio listening in the U.S. — until now. According to Triton Digital’s May 2018 Webcast Metrics, Spotify is the new king of primetime. For Monday to Friday, 6 to 8pm, in May, Spotify gained 2.59 million Average Active Sessions (AAS). This is up from 2.58 million for the previous month. Meanwhile, Pandora had 2.55 million AAS for May. This was down from 2.59 million for April.
