Jacobs Summit lives on

R&R is gone and so is the R&R Convention, which had included the Jacobs Summit. Fear not. Jacobs Media has now partnered with the NAB Radio Show to continue the tradition.

The Summit will be held Thursday, September 24th in Philadelphia from 1-5 pm, and will once again present a full schedule of educational sessions for radio broadcasters. Last year’s Jacobs Summit at the final R&R Convention provided some interesting insights, along with a few good laughs.

“We are excited to welcome the Summit to this year’s NAB Radio Show. Jacobs Media is known for its compelling sessions, speakers, and celebrities, and we’re pleased to work with them at this year’s show,” said NAB Executive Vice President of Radio John David.

“This is an exciting opportunity for the Summit, to be a part of the NAB Radio Show and to offer content that will appeal to attendees, from PDs and DJs to CEOs and CFOs,” said Jacobs Media President Fred Jacobs.

The Jacobs Summit is known for presenting panels dealing with the challenges and opportunities that broadcasters face, from digital platforms to an increasingly challenging economic environment. While sometimes unconventional and controversial, but always smart, relevant, and current, the Jacobs Summit tackles issues that are top-of-mind for radio broadcasters, noted the NAB announcement.

Fred Jacobs told RBR/TVBR that the agenda and panelists should be announced next month.
