Talk Radio Network Enterprises’ host Jerry Doyle, a Wall Street insider, previously proposed what he has coined the “4% solution” to help homeowners and the economy recover. Doyle proposed this solution weeks ago on The Jerry Doyle Show. Now an almost identical plan was proposed to amend the economic stimulus package in the Senate last week by Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN). The proposal was defeated in the Senate by democrats on party lines. Senator Alexander also recently appeared on CNN to explain “his plan”. Could he have been listening to The Jerry Doyle Show?
During The Jerry Doyle Show, which aired last month, Doyle says, “You say to banks, 4% that’s what you’re gonna charge people for a 30 year fixed mortgage.” Doyle uses this example of how this solution can work, “On a $200,000 mortgage, the payment on a 4% 30 year fixed rate mortgage would be $954.80.” The “4% solution” would save millions of homeowners hundreds of dollars each month.
Doyle says, “This ‘4% solution’ should not die in last weeks vote in the Senate.” Doyle has extended invitations to appear on The Jerry Doyle Show to both Senator Alexander (and Senator John Ensign (R-NV) to discuss the solution further. Doyle encourages all Americans to contact their respective Senators to show support for the “4% solution” and visit www.fixhousingfirst.com for updates on this proposal.
