K-LOVE strikes again

0

The insatiable appetite for stations exhibited by noncommercial Contemporary Christian K-LOVE network operator Education Media Foundation continues unabated. This time the group is picking up WZRP-FM Richmond IN, serving an unrated portion of the state close to the border with Ohio. The seller is Christian Voice of Central Ohio Inc., headed by Dan Baughman.

RBR/TVBR observation: EMF is not particular about which side of the commercial/noncommercial divide it operates on, and it has been gradually reducing the number of commercial operations over the past several years. That is not the case this time. Sited at 89.3 MHz, the transfer of WZRP is strictly from one noncom to another.
