Here’s some news that will certainly grab your attention: U.S. broadcast station mergers and acquisitions (M&A) volume in Q2 2018 was the largest in some 11 years.
According to S&P Global Market Intelligence’s Kagan unit, M&A volume from April-June 2018 reached $5.11.
That said, three TV companies are directly responsible for this deal volume. Radio, Kagan politely notes, “is moving slowly.”
