What About MyCV? A Holy Move Is On The Way

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIF. — In April 2015, RBR+TVBR reported on the sale of a full-power TV station serving Fresno valued at $3 million. It saw the station, in a deal brokered by Kalil & Co., transfer to Aperio Communications.

Now, the company has decided to sell the station, putting MyNetwork TV affiliation — and four digital multicast networks serving California’s Central Valley — in question.

According to a broker announcement from Media Services Group, MyNetworkTV affiliate KAIL-DT 7 in Fresno is being sold to Radiant Life Ministries.

According to a Form 314 filing posted Wednesday to the FCC database, the transaction is valued at $2.2 million.

Stephan Sloan, of the Providence, R.I., office of Media Services Group, was the
exclusive broker in this transaction.

The seller was advised by Dean Goodman of GoodRadio TV Management.

A $100,000 escrow deposit is being held by Fletcher Heald & Hildreth. Broker fees were redacted from the publicly posted APA.

Apeiro in 2015 acquired KAIL from Trans America Broadcasting Corporation, headed by President Gerardo Borrego.

Today, KAIL offers LightTV, Heroes & Icons, Ion Television and This TV as digital multicast offerings.

That will likely end soon, as Radiant Life Ministries operates the TCT Network.

It enjoys national distribution on Channel 377 of DirecTV.
