GroupM executive Kelly Clark was named the first Worldwide CEO of the holding company’s MAXUS agency network. The announcement was made by GroupM Worldwide CEO Irwin Gotlieb, who said Clark, currently the CEO of GroupM Europe, Middle East and Africa, would begin his new role 11/1.

“We have ambitious plans for the development of MAXUS,” said Gotlieb.  “Kelly is a true global executive, with strong operating and client management experience in Europe, Asia Pacific and North America.  This experience, and his passion for working hands-on with clients, makes him well-suited to deliver a new MAXUS vision around the world.”

Currently based in London, Clark will relocate to New York and will report to Gotlieb.

Before moving to London, he was based in Hong Kong where he was CEO of Mindshare Asia Pacific for seven years.  He started his career with JWT New York where he held a number of media management positions.
