Kenton Morris killed in plane crash

The Chicago Tribune reports that former WGN-AM Chicago Assistant Program Director Kenton Morris was killed last Thursday, along with two passengers, when the chartered plane he was flying crashed in Wisconsin. He was 61. After leaving radio, Morris had managed the WGN-sponsored Chicago Flower and Garden Show from 1995 to 2006. He had long been licensed as a commercial pilot and had continued to fly chartered flights.
