The American General Media station in Bakersfield, CA flipped 4/4 to $mart Talk 1230. The new news-talk-information format is designed to deliver the goods with a focus on consumers, financial news & opinion and entertainment. $mart Talk 1230 local programming includes “Californian Radio” with journalists from The Bakersfield Californian.
KERN personality Jeff Lemucchi joins with co-hosts Richard Beene, Lois Henry, Robert Price and John Arthur every weekday morning at 10:00 am to provide perspective while discussing and analyzing the issues that affect Bakersfield and Kern County.
The station is also the home of “Your Radio Store” weekdays at 11:00 am and Saturdays at 10:00 am. The on-air auction includes thousands of items while highlighting local and regional businesses.
