CBS Radio’s CHR KLUC-FM Las Vegas is teaming up once again with HELP of Southern Nevada for the 13th Annual Chet Buchanan & The Morning Zoo Toy Drive 12/1-12/12 at the NV Energy parking lot. Buchanan will live atop a 30-foot high scaffolding 24 hours a day for 12 straight days raising awareness about less fortunate kids & families in the community.
Every year, more and more families need assistance during the holidays whether they’re out of a job, or have no place to go. KLUC and HELP of Southern Nevada give these families the opportunity to enjoy their holidays by conducting one of the largest and longest running single location toy drives in the world.
Last year, HELP of Southern Nevada was able to supply toys to over 3,000 families, 10,082 kids, and over 12 charities throughout Southern Nevada with donations collected at KLUC’s Toy Drive. Sponsors that kicked in include NV Energy, Findlay Toyota, Century Link, Albertsons, NM Ventures/Palms Casino Resort, Nevada State Bank, Walgreens & Massage Envy.
