Alpha Broadcasting’s Country KUPL-FM Portland is asking listeners to help fill an entire school bus with new, wrapped toys for children in conjunction with the annual Safeway Toys for Tots Toy Drive. TikTac; KUPL afternoon driver and B-Dub; KUPL nighttimer, are living in an RV on site Saturday 12/10 through Thursday 12/15 broadcasting live and collecting donated items at a local Safeway supermarket.
All donations are distributed by The Marines, whose mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community. The primary goal is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters.
