Michael Grey and Pete McIntyre will be the new local afternoon team on Journal Broadcast Group Omaha’s new home for ESPN Radio AM 590. Grey comes to Omaha from Michigan’s WBBL-FM where he was host of a morning sports show. He has an extensive background in both music and sports radio as well as television experience. With Nebraska moving to the Big 10, his knowledge and expertise in Big 10 sports will provide a base of knowledge for AM 590.
Joining Grey will be Pete McIntyre, who currently supplies sports coverage weekday mornings for the Todd N’Tyler Radio Empire syndicated show originating from Z-92 (KEZO-FM) in Omaha. His previous experience in Nebraska sports coverage includes working in the sports department at Omaha TV station KMTV Action 3 News. Z-92 and KMTV-TV are also O&O’d by Journal.
