Des Moines Radio Group’s KAZR-FM Lazer 103.3’s Morning Moose has offered up a challenge to listeners: Lazer’s “Morning Moose Downhill Derby” hits the slopes of Sleep Hollow Sports Park 1/22. Over 60 competitors have already opted-in to face down the slicked up course in a quest to take home some prizes.
The event is presented by Monster Energy Drinks and it’s as ‘simple’ as putting together a sled with only – cardboard, paint and duct tape.
Prizes include:
• The fastest sled wins a $500 Visa Check Card courtesy of Landshark Promotion Studio.
• The most creative sled wins tickets to see Linkin Park at the Sprint Center in Kansas City on 1/29 and will meet the band courtesy of Warner Brothers Records.
• Wear a crazy hat to the race and listeners could win tickets to see Rev theory when the play People’s Court in February.
