A Lazer-Focused Price For A Reno Trio

Nearly two weeks ago, RBR+TVBR reported that the Alfredo Plascencia-led Lazer Broadcasting is obtaining three radio stations in the Silver State’s second-largest market from Times-Shamrock Communications. Thanks to the filing of a Form 314 with the FCC on Monday (8/14), we now know the sticker price of this deal.

It’s the lone item featured in RBR+TVBR‘s TRANSACTIONS TODAY for Monday, Aug. 14.

Lazer is obtaining the following stations:

  • Class C 100kw CHR/Pop KWNZ-FM 106.3, licensed to Lovelock, Nev.
  • Class C 100kw News/Talk KNEZ-FM 107.3, which has a CP for a new city of license of Hazen, Nev.
  • Class C 100kw Rock KZTI-FM 105.3, licensed to Fallon Station, Nev.

Serving as the exclusive broker in this transaction, representing the seller, is MVP Capital.

Times-Shamrock is selling the trio for $425,000. A $50,000 escrow deposit has been made by Lazer to Haggerty Hinton & Cosgrove LLP, the agent of record for Times-Shamrock.

Serving as the legal counsel for the seller is Kenneth Satten of Wilkinson Barker Knauer.

Lazer’s legal counsel in this transaction is Frank Jazzo of Fletcher Heald & Hildreth.
