Channel 17 WAND-TV, an NBC exponent in the Champaign-Springfield-Decatur IL, has exited the portfolio of group owner LIN TV Corporation. It is now solely owned by Block Communications, which adds LIN’s 33% stake in the station to become sole owner. the price was 6.75M. LIN saw the transaction as a liquidation of a non-core asset.
