For some time now you’ve known that The 2010 Radio Show would be September 29 through October 1 in Washington, DC. Now, at last, we can tell you just where in our Nation’s Capital it will be.

As the NAB Joint Board and its radio and TV components met this week, it was revealed that the Radio Show, jointly sponsored for the first time by NAB and the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) will take place at the Grand Hyatt in DC.

There aren’t a lot of hotels in DC big enough to house the Radio Show, so the selection wasn’t a great surprise. Some of you will remember it as the venue for some of the Talk Radio Conventions staged by the defunct Radio & Records.

“Centrally located in Penn Quarter – with convenient in-lobby Metro Center access – this downtown Washington DC hotel is an ideal spot to explore the US capital,” the hotel says on its website. It will, indeed, be ideally located for broadcasters to do some face-to-face lobbying with their home state lawmakers between convention events.
