Burgess To Lead Digital Content For Beasley

Lori Burgess, who has been Beasley Media Group‘s integrated marketing strategy consultant since May 2017, is taking a newly created in-house position at the radio broadcasting company.


As of today, Burgess is now Chief Digital Content Officer at Beasley, a role that sees her take responsibility for designing and overseeing the digital content strategy for the company.

Caroline Beasley, CEO of the family-led publicly traded company, said, “Lori has proven time and time again since she joined our company that she has what it takes to lead the company’s digital content strategy into the future. It is a privilege to have her on our team. I look forward to Lori expanding our digital footprint with unique and exciting content opportunities that complement Beasley Media Group’s core business.”

Burgess said that her appointment comes as Beasley is “embarking upon an exciting business transformation, one focused on content excellence and proficiency across all media platforms.”

This expansion, she explained, “will allow our on-air talent to enhance their local market presence, fostering deeper and more engaged relationships with audiences and advertisers alike.”

Burgess has been an independent contractor working with Beasley from New York, and her past includes roles as VP/Publisher and Managing Director of Prevention magazine. From 2010 to 2011, she was Publisher of The Hollywood Reporter. Burgess has also been associated with OK! Magazine, House & Garden Magazine, Elle, Mademoiselle, and Seventeen.
