United Stations Radio Network’s EVP/Programming Andy Denemark told RBR-TVBR Lou has decided to focus on his nightly show on the Fox Business Channel, so the show is winding down after four years on the air: “It’s not every day that we get to work hand in hand with someone with the media impact of a Lou Dobbs, and it’s been an honor and a pleasure.”

Dobbs will leave his syndicated radio show on 2/24. He signed with USRN to produce and distribute his daily talker from 3-6pm in 12/07. It launched March of 2008. Dobbs joined USRN while continuing to anchor the nightly “Lou Dobbs Tonight” on CNN. He left CNN and the program 11/09.

We asked Denemark if he’s recommending anything to affiliates to replace the show when it ends: “We don’t have another weekday block with similar content, so no, but for his weekend affiliates we have weekend talk blocks.”
