Luján’s Constant Fact In An Ever-Evolving Media World


Rep. Ben Ray Luján, a Democrat from New Mexico who normally takes months to sponsor the Local Radio Freedom Act, deliberately holds off on his support because, he says, “I ask tough questions.”

Luján is also well-appraised of the massive disruption to broadcast media being created by digital choices. Speaking Tuesday in Washington, D.C., at the NAB State Leadership Conference, Luján made one thing clear: “Despite all these changes, one thing remains
constant: the importance of broadcasters.”
