Robert Scott Morgan, 25, of Fairfax, VA, a “base jumper,” was injured and cited for trespassing 12/21 after his parachute didn’t fully open when he jumped off the Maryland Public Television tower in Crownsville, MD (Annapolis). Morgan sustained injuries to his legs and was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

Police said Morgan and another man, Sean Michael Bullington, 34, of Draper, UT, were at the tower in the early morning hours.

Bullington was also cited for trespassing on private property, and cited for making false statements to a police officer.

In a separate incident last week, five people were charged with trespassing and one was injured after one person tried to BASE jump off the WETA-TV DC  tower in Arlington, VA.
