* Meredith Corporation will meet with shareholders and analysts to discuss its fiscal 2015 Q2 performance. The television/magazine company has set the teleconference for 11:00AM eastern.

* Media Venture partners has ventured out of the broadcast arena with its handling of the sale of solar energy outfit Green Lake Capital LLC. MVP represented buyer Atlantic Tele-Network, a telecommunications holding company, in the $103,000,000 acquisition.

* Motley Fool has listed seven stocks that it thinks will be big in 2015 – and we’ll save you the suspense of writing a teaser headline and making you click – no broadcaster made the list. Google, Apple and Facebook were the new media companies that made the cut.

* Mobile-centric audio streamer Hotspot.fm is offering its services with the assistance of AdLarge Media, which will handle national advertising sales exclusively for the service. The service, which comes from Finland, strives to be both consumer- and mobile device-friendly.
