Medlock Upped To VP Role At Mediabase

Radio airplay monitoring company Mediabase has promoted Josh Medlock to Vice President of Affiliate Relations and Integrated Music Marketing.


In this newly created position, Medlock will focus on expanding Mediabase’s business with national radio groups and stations, while assisting clients with data and custom insights, and contributing to Mediabase’s overall strategy. Additionally, he will continue his work on developing and implementing national music campaigns and artist promotions, as well as working on live music and event broadcasts with Premiere Networks.

Medlock’s radio career started in Washington, D.C. as an intern at WPGC-FM.  He segued to Baltimore at WERQ-FM and moved to WXYV-FM, becoming the station’s Marketing Director. He has also led programming at WXYV-FM, WWMX-FM and WHFS-FM in Baltimore. During his time with CBS Radio/Baltimore, Medlock was also the Operations Manager for the CBS Radio cluster.  Medlock then moved to Dallas and joined the nationally-syndicated Kidd Kraddick In The Morning radio show as Operations Manager and Vice President of Marketing.

In 2010, he joined the Premiere Networks and Mediabase family.
