Mega Media Group announces personalities for “Pulse 87 FM” NY

Pulse 87 FM (WNYZ-LP), New York’s new Rhythmic Top 40 radio station, announced three veteran NYC air personalities will be joining the station launched on 2/11: Jewelz Lopez to host Mid-days; Jimmy "Showboat" Fields to host Evenings; and Laura Stylez joins for Weekends.


Lopez was formerly with Clear Channel’s WKTU, where she spent the last six  years as the late night host as well as serving as a producer and programming assistant. Showboat also comes to Pulse 87 from ‘KTU, where he was an on air personality for five years and represented the station as an MC for hundreds of events. Laura Stylez comes from Univision’s LaCalle (WCAA-FM) in New York where she was the "Mid-Day Mami."

WNYZ is actually a LPTV in the market, broadcasting in analog on VHF ch. 6. However, they have not been broadcasting video. Their signal reaches the five boroughs, most of Long Island, central and north New Jersey. Its transmitter is on top of the Citicorp Building in Long Island City, Queens.
