Meredith Local Media Propels Into Fiscal 2021


Powered by digital advertising and strong political revenue, Meredith Corp. is off to what President/CEO Tom Harty calls “an encouraging start to fiscal 2021.”

“While the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact total company revenues, sequentially our year-over-year performance has continued to recover,” he said.

How did its Local Media arm, comprised of 17 over-the-air broadcast TV stations, perform? The results for fiscal Q1 ’21 look quite good.
