Mikey, Mottla return for “Rock All Night”

Rock All NightLegendary major market talent Mikey Esparza and 20-year major market Rock programmer and talent Russ Mottla will return to radio next month as co-hosts of the nationally-syndicated Classic Rock show “Rock All Night.”  Rock All Night will air live from midnight to 6am, ET, Monday-Friday.


Esparza is a 25-year radio veteran best known for his time in Morning Drive at KEGL/Dallas, KBZT/San Diego, KSJO/San Jose and KIOZ/San Diego, where he helmed the top-rated Mikey Show for nine years at night and five years in AM Drive and where he was named Best Nighttime Music Show by the San Diego Music Awards and Best San Diego Morning Talk Show from KSWB TV, Fox 5 San Diego.

Mottla has spent over 25 years in Rock radio as an award-winning Program Director and highest-rated afternoon drive personality in the history of 98 Rock in Baltimore. Russ is the original program director of WFNX in Boston and has also worked at WAAF and WZLX in that same city. He has also programmed in Santa Barbara, Long Island, and Southern New Hampshire.

Also involved in programming Rock All Night is 20+-year programmer-turned-attorney Steve Hoffman, the 14-year PD of KCAL/Riverside who has also programmed in San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Bakersfield.
