The Milwaukee Brewers and Newsradio 620 WTMJ announced the completion of a radio rights agreement that continues the longstanding partnership between the two organizations, according to Brewers’ EVP/Business Operations Rick Schlesinger and Jon Schweitzer, SVP/General Manager, WTMJ/WKTI. WTMJ is O&O’d by Journal Broadcast Group.
WTMJ-AM has served as the radio flagship of the Brewers for all but two seasons since the team moved to Milwaukee. The prior agreement carried through the 2008 season. No other terms of the new contract were disclosed.
