CBS Radio’s AC Mix 94.1, Clark County Parks & Recreation in Cooperation with Bureau of Land Management and Wells Fargo, present the 14th Annual “Mix 94.1’s Bite of Las Vegas Food and Music Festival” on Saturday, October 23rd, from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. at Desert Breeze Park. Attendees can receive $1 off the admission price with a donation of canned food at the gate for the City Mission of Las Vegas. Additionally, $1 of every ticket sold will be donated to the City Mission to help feed Las Vegas’ hungry.
Entertainment headliners on the House of Blues Main Stage at this year’s event will be Mix 94.1 recording artists Switchfoot, Sara Bareilles, K’naan, Plain White T’s, Ryan Star, Christina Perri, as well as special performances from several of Las Vegas’ top shows. Autograph session and special opening ceremonies hosted by Nickelodeon’s iCarly, Miranda Cosgrove. Plus, the top four local bands from Mix 94.1’s Band Battle For Bite competition will perform on the Tropical Smoothie Café and XPOZ Local Stage throughout the day!
“Mix 94.1’s Bite of Las Vegas” is Nevada’s largest food and music festival and features more than 45 of Las Vegas’ restaurants on-site in decorated booths. Menu selections range from Mexican, Asian, French, Mediterranean, Italian, pizza, gourmet sandwiches, barbecue, kids’ selections and desserts all offered in $1-$5 portions. Bite of Las Vegas restaurants compete for the best decorated booth on-site as well as nine different “Best Bite” food categories that are judged by The International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Las Vegas.
Additional entertainment will include the kid’s area with carnival rides and games. Chefs from The Culinary Institute Cooking Stage will conduct several cooking demonstrations at the event. Plus, Mix 94.1 on-air personalities will be broadcasting live throughout the day from the park in addition to hosting many of the on-site events.
