Tech stocks took a hit after an analyst downgraded its chip makers, but the Dow Jones Industrial Average still managed to gain as other tech-heavy indices fell. The DJIA was up 23 points, or 0.2%, to 10,968. Broadcasting stocks ended on the down side.
The RBR Radio Index was down 1.367, or 0.5%, to 269.066.
The TVBR Television Index was down 1.020, or 0.5%, to 196.528.
