There’s a lot of stability when it comes to the brands that opt to use spot cable to reach consumers across the U.S. This accounts for a lot of repeat performances in the latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Cable report.
However, there’s one big returnee this week, and it is a department store chain in need of a sales boost.
Coming off a tepid Q1 compared to such competitors as Macy’s, JC Penney is back in a big way at the cable networks tracked by Media Monitors, a unit of iHeartMedia.
The retailer powers in to the Spot Ten from No. 76 a week ago, with 28,596 spot plays.
Meanwhile, home improvement chain Lowe’s is again No. 1.
