A Bunch of Babbel Is A Good Thing For Radio

In 2020, there’s one thing that’s become loud and clear when it comes to a big new user of radio: Babbel loves radio.

The language learning site loves it so much, in fact, that the brand tops the latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Radio report.

The language learning brand, which offers online and virtual instruction courses, saw a huge burst in spot activity, coming in at No. 1 for the week ending July 12 with nearly 70,000 spots.

By comparison, Progressive was second (discounting all iHeart-related entries), with roughly 52,300 spots. GEICO was right behind.

Indeed, auto insurers and auto care retailers are big users of radio again, as AutoZone and O’Reilly Auto Parts are seen with current campaigns.

Also in the mix: Dell Computers, at No. 9.
