A Big Surge at Radio For Big-Box Home and Hardware Retailers

With a holiday weekend approaching and temperatures soaring, now may be the perfect time for a home improvement project.


It could explain the big surge in ad activity seen in the week ending June 28 by The Home Depot. 

As shown below, The DIY hardware and home store is tops with nearly 85,000 spot plays for the week ending June 28.

By comparison, Lowe’s is No. 4 with some 60,124 spots.

Otherwise, podcasts and new radio advertiser Babbel dominate the Spot Ten.
