NABOB, BIA Partner For A ‘Detailed Analysis’ of Black-Owned Radio

From nationally recognized broadcaster Urban One to Davis Broadcasting in Georgia, Perry Publishing & Broadcasting in Oklahoma, and even the legendary Stevie Wonder, African Americans play a key role in serving audiences with spoken word programming, and music ranging from Gospel to Adult R&B and hip-hop.


But what are these stations’ audience metrics, and what does the revenue for Black-Owned Radio look like? The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters (NABOB) and BIA Advisory Services partnered up to provide the industry answers to those questions.

The results have just been released.
