U.S. stocks leapt Friday, propelling the Nasdaq index to an 11-year high, as Wall Street embraced the nation’s jobless rate dropping to a three-year low. The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 133.02 points, or 1%, to 12,838.43, with 27 of its 30 components rising. Broadcasting stocks were up, too.
The RBR Radio Index was up 1.895, or 0.52%, to 367.075.
The TVBR Television Index was up 5.503, or 2.06%, to 272.222.
