NBC 'Law & Order: SVU' second-place

At 8 p.m. ET, night three of “Who’s Still Standing?” (1.7/5 in 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall) improved on NBC’s season averages in the slot by 13 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 1.7 vs. a 1.5) and 22 percent in total viewers (5.655 million vs. 4.624 million).  “Who’s Still Standing?” ranked #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key categories behind only Fox’s final competition episode of “X Factor.”  These are NBC’s top 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period since November 30 (“Christmas in Rockefeller Center”).  
 
For a third night in a row, “Who’s Still Standing?” built substantially from half-hour to half-hour, last night growing by 0.3 of a rating point or 20 percent from its first half-hour to its second (to a 1.8 from a 1.5).  On Monday, “Who’s Still Standing?” grew by 0.3 of a point or 21 percent and on Tuesday, the 18-49 increase was 0.4 of a point or 24 percent.  Last night’s edition of “Who’s Still Standing?” also grew from half-hour to half-hour in total viewers by 17 percent (to 6.1 million from 5.2 million).  


At 9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of “A Michael Bublé Christmas” delivered a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 4.4 million viewers overall.  From its first half-hour to its second, “A Michael Bublé Christmas” grew by 18 percent in total viewers (to 4.8 million from 4.0 million).  

At 10 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key categories.  From its first half-hour to its second, “SVU” grew by 22 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 from a 0.9).
