The ratings gurus at TVbytheNumbers have looked at a dozen current NBC programs and rated their chances of surviving until May 2013. Two are known to be in their final season, and three are seen as certain survivors.
The trade pub has a ratings system in place that attempts to predict the health of television programs, assigning them a rating. Revolution is far in the lead with a 1.76 rating, well ahead of #2 Go On.
Two programs are seen as being in trouble, but there were none rated as certain to be exiting the schedule.
Here is how the online mag rates the chances for a dozen NBC shows.
* Animal Practice (0.67) more likely to be gone by May 2013 than not
* Up All Night (0.68) more likely to be gone by May 2013 than not
* 30 Rock (0.70) final season
* Guys With Kids (0.80) survival by May 2013 is a toss-up
* Grimm (F) (0.80) more likely to survive until May 2013 than not
* Parks & Recreation (0.86) more likely to survive until May 2013 than not
* Parenthood (0.86) more likely to survive until May 2013 than not
* The New Normal (0.98) more likely to survive until May 2013 than not
* Law & Order: SVU (1.04) certain to survive until May 2013
* The Office (1.06) final season
* Go On (1.36) certain to survive until May 2013
* Revolution (1.77) certain to survive until May 2013
