NBC's "The Biggest Loser" hits #2 in 18-49

From 8-10 p.m. ET, “The Biggest Loser” averaged a 3.7 rating, 10 share in adults 18-49 and 9.6 million viewers overall, generating week-to-week gains of 6% in 18-49 and 5% in total viewers.  Versus the same night last year, “Loser” is up 6% in 18-49 (3.7 vs. 3.5) and 1.5 million persons or 18% in total viewers (9.6million vs. 8.1 million). 


In the time period last night, “The Biggest Loser” ranked #2 among the major networks in adults 18-49 and #1 in adults 18-34, women 18-34 and women 18-49.

For its second hour, from 9-10 p.m., “The Biggest Loser” is #1 among the major networks in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and all key adult-female demographics (pending updates) ahead of CBS’s “NCIS: Los Angeles,” ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” results show and Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance.”  This is the sixth week in a row “Biggest Loser” has beaten all regular major-network competition in the 9 p.m. hour in adults 18-49.

From its first half-hour to its fourth, “The Biggest Loser” increased its 18-49 rating by 39 percent (to a 4.3 from a 3.1) and its overall viewership by 20 percent or 1.7 million persons (to 10.5 million from 8.8 million).

In Late-Night Local People Meters Tuesday night:

Conan O’Brien (1.0/4 in 18-49 in local people meters) defeated CBS’s LATE SHOW (0.9/4) in Nielsen’s 24 local markets with People Meters.

At 12:35 a.m., Jimmy Fallon (0.6/3 in 18-49 in local people meters) topped CBS’s LATE LATE SHOW (0.5/3).
