WQAM-AM Miami Sports Radio announced controversial talker Neil Rogers signed a five-year contract to run through 2013. Rogers’ contract was to expire in December 2008. Rogers is the only general talk host on WQAM which is otherwise dedicated to sports. He has been the “king of talk radio” at the Beasley station since 1997 and in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale market for over 30 years. Airing 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. EST weekdays, Rogers’ show is consistently the top rated show in the market and has been since his Miami debut.
